The Central Odyssey tour is the newest of the Powder Recon tours, based on the hugely successful Northern Odyssey Tour, the central tour aims to show Powder Recon guests the famed mountains in the Gunma and Bandai regions of Japan's main island, Honshu. With a bit more of a focus for adventure, and scope for touring depending on the group's capability, the Central Odyssey Tour has received extremely positive feedback in it's first few years and has proven to be a popular tour among the repeat Powder Recon clients.

Guiding
Included in the Central Odyssey Tour is daily guiding from Sunday through Friday. Including visiting new resorts, the guide's role is to provide a safe and adventurous day, following the weather and the mountains to find the best possible skiing for any given day. Ski the trees, the secret stashes or bring/rent your touring set up and get into the side country!

The Central Odyssey Tour was created as an offshoot to the hugely popular Northern Odyssey Tour, originally designed by Powder Recon's founder Bryce to include more adventure, it has quickly become a favourite among the Powder Recon returning clientele. Ski the spectacular, undiscovered mountains throughout Gunma and Bandai.
Accommodation
Looking to provide the best possible location and culture through the tour, the accommodation is primarily chosen for the location and proximity to resorts. Stay in a combination of authentic Ryokans and Japanese hotels and finish the day right with traditional onsens and delicious food.
