“Just wanted to say thanks for an incredible tour and for giving us a real tour of Japanese powder and a real taste of Japanese culture. The places we went were amazing and felt so authentic, they would have been intimidating without our Powder Recon guide. Sure it was still up to us to avoid the deep-fried crickets at the buffet. Or to figure out how to say “no more” during the multi-course dinners at the Seventh Door. But that’s exactly why I went with Powder Recon. I didn’t want English signage on the buildings, Fosters at the supermarket and Aussies in the bar. I was far happier slipping into anonymous little drinking holes where trendy young guys practised their American-English on us and girls giggled as they taught us the local board games.
