Seki Onsen

Off-piste powder paradise – this is Seki Onsen. Don't go here unless you have a serious addiction to deep powder. Seki is well known in Japan as one of only a handful of true free ride resorts. Although small, it has a ‘ride anywhere’ policy making it a sought after destination for intermediate to advanced riders. Difficult to get to, it is within a half hour’s drive of Akakura Onsen resort and private transport is generally required. Powder Recon buses visit the resort when the conditions are optimal.

Seki Onsen is perfect for those who desire a genuine backcountry-skiing experience with some of the best free riding possibilities in Japan - without the crowds!!
