This intimate family owned and run is Ryokan is located just 5 minutes walk from the Akakura Kanko Gondola. Rooms offer stunning views of either the Myoko Kogen Alps (looking uphill) of the Japanese Alps (looking downhill). Located on a quiet snow lined street, Okayama is around 10 minutes walk from the Akakura town. If offers a true Japanese cultural experience for those that want to immerse themselves in all that Japan offers, and is a real favourite amongst the locals.

Okayama offers one of the best traditional restaurants in Myoko, with beautifully presented and delicious meals. We strongly recommend trying the food on offer here during your stay, and the family owners will ensure you have a memorable dining experience.

Rooms are traditional Japanese style and very well appointed. As is typical for Ryokans, bathroom facilities are shared and the hotel has an indoor onsen.
