MT BANDAI - FUKUSHIMA

For an experience a little more remote, further north of Myoko in the Tohoku region lies Mt Bandai, the iconic symbol of the Fukushima Prefecture.

Located in the picturesque Bandai-Asahi national park, the mountain itself is made up of three peaks, the tallest of which Oba Bandai (1,819m), provides a view which is truly breathtaking and considered as one of the best in Japan.
