Ikenotaira Onsen

Just a short bus/car ride from Akakura Onsen village is Ikenotaira Onsen Ski Resort. This resort is fairly flat and open, more suited to beginners, or more specifically, riders who love playing in the park all day. The resort boasts one of Japan’s premier snowboard parks (second only to ALTS in Fukushima) and is constantly evolving being re-designed each year by a team of local pro snowboarders. The multiple parks include slopestyle elements as well as rails, kickers, spines, boxes and a half pipe to wire your tricks on.
