Gran Deco

Gran Deco offers one gondola and four hooded quads to enable you to access its north-facing slopes. This resort’s orientation mean snow conditions are consistently lighter and temperatures are colder than many of the surrounding resorts making skiing and snowboarding possible through to May.

More than three quarters of the 4km top-to-bottom runs are suitable for beginners and intermediates with some good opportunities to weave through the trees for the more advanced. The simple layout of the runs means that it is always easy to meet up with friends throughout the day.

At the base area all necessary facilities from rentals, restaurants to rest rooms are all conveniently located in one complex. Two restaurants further up the mountain will offer you a splendid view of Mt. Bandai and Lake Inawashiro as well as a great selection of traditional Japanese foods.
